Zionist settlers attack Palestinian citizens, their properties in several areas Ramallah

WEST BANK, June 01 (YPA) – A group of Zionist settlers carried out a series of attacks last night targeting Palestinian citizens and their properties in several villages and towns in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate, under heavy protection from the Israeli occupation forces.

According to Palestinian sources, the Zionist settlers opened fire toward a young man in the eastern neighborhood of the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah. No injuries were reported.

In the town of Sinjil, also northeast of the governorate, settlers attacked citizens’ homes on the northern outskirts near the old Nablus road. Residents confronted the settlers, and no injuries were reported.

The sources added that Israeli occupation forces stormed the town to provide protection for the settlers.

They detained several young men, including Bahaa Faqha, the deputy mayor of Sinjil, and closed the main entrance to the town.

Meanwhile, local sources reported that settlers gathered at the entrance to the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah, and pelted passing vehicles with stones. No injuries were reported.

Settler attacks across the West Bank continue to escalate, most of which occur under the direct protection of the Israeli occupation military, exacerbating the suffering of Palestinian citizens and threatening their safety and property on a daily basis.
