TEHRAN, May 29 (YPA) – The Iranian Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the Zionist attacks on Sanaa International Airport on Wednesday and the destruction of a Yemeni aircraft.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry considered the Zionist aggression against Yemen further evidence of the Zionists’ brutality and hostility toward the Muslim people of Yemen and the region.
It added that the Zionists’ attack on the airport during the Hajj season is a crime aimed at preventing Yemeni pilgrims from performing Hajj.
The ministry called on international organizations, particularly the International Civil Aviation Organization, to immediately and seriously address this matter.
It also emphasized that “the repeated attacks on infrastructure and economic and civilian facilities in Yemen constitute a war crime against humanity.”
The Iranian ministry called on all countries in the region and the world to shoulder their legal and moral responsibility to confront the Zionist crimes in Palestine and other countries in the region.
It warned that the impunity of the occupying entity due to the inaction of the UN Security Council and the comprehensive US support for it will have dire consequences for global security and peace.
