ADEN, May 25 (YPA) – Southern activists circulated a shocking photo revealing the suffering of patients in the coalition-controlled city of Aden after dozens of them were taken to the hospital courtyard due to the ongoing power outage caused by a lack of fuel.
The horrific photos showed patients in critical condition in a hospital courtyard due to the lack of electricity, searching for air as temperatures soared above 40 degrees.
This catastrophic deterioration coincides with the escalation of ongoing popular protests and demonstrations in Aden demanding improved services, including electricity and water, in addition to curbing the rise in prices due to the deterioration of the currency against foreign currencies.
The coalition countries and their affiliated government did not respond to citizens’ demands to implement economic solutions and urgently provide fuel for power plants to alleviate the suffering of the people.
