Civil Defense in Sanaa launches severe warning to all companies, factories, commercial malls, oil stations
SANAA, May 24 (YPA) – The head of the Civil Defense Authority in the Sana’a Interior Ministry, Major General Ibrahim Al-Moayyad, called on public and private facilities, companies, factories, commercial malls, and oil and gas derivative stations to adhere to the requirements and standards of public security and safety, on Saturday.
Major General Al-Moayyad stressed in a press statement that adhering to the requirements and standards of public security and safety would protect lives, public and private property and avoid the risks of disasters and accidents.
He pointed out the need to train and qualify workers in public and private facilities, companies, factories, and commercial malls to enable them to confront disasters, accidents, and emergencies.
The head of the Civil Defense Authority held companies, factories, and commercial malls fully responsible in the event of non-compliance with the standards and requirements of public security and safety, noting that the Authority would take legal action against any violator or negligent party in accordance with the provisions of Civil Defense Law No. 24 of 1997.
