Naim  Qassem: We are honored to be on the front of honor, on the front of resistance

BEIRUT, May 19 (YPA) – Hezbollah’s Secretary-General Sheikh Naim  Qassem highlighted the importance and uniqueness that characterized the path of martyred Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.

Speaking on the first anniversary of the martyrdom of President Raisi and his companions, Sheikh Naim Qassem, paid tribute to martyr Raisi, saying, “This path is one of sacrifice and devotion. Today, we pay tribute to a remarkable man who held sensitive and high-ranking positions throughout his life.”

Sheikh Qassem praised the late Iranian president as “one of the most important people who supported the resistance in Lebanon” and the region.

“The resistance in Lebanon was always one of his main concerns. He always asked after Master of the Ummah’s Martyrs, Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah. He even asked about details in this regard”, the Hezbollah leader added.

“We are honored to be on the front of honor, on the front of resistance, with Palestine, Lebanon, Islamic Iran, and all the honorable resistance fighters in the region”, Sheikh Qassem concluded his remarks.
