Israeli occupation forces launch campaign of arrests, raids in West Bank

WEST BANK, May 18 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces arrested a number of Palestinian citizens early Sunday morning during a series of raids in various areas of the occupied West Bank.

According to Palestinian sources, Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Al-Jalameh in the Jenin Governorate and arrested Yasmine Shaaban after raiding her home.

They also launched a campaign of raids and arrests in the villages of Tarama and Al-Fahs, both located in the town of Dura in the Hebron Governorate, where they searched several homes and arrested a group of young men.

In the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus, Israeli occupation forces arrested Karim Nasser Hanani after raiding his family home.

The occupation forces also raided the village of Al-Mazra’a al-Gharbiya, northwest of Ramallah, using military patrols and infantry soldiers, and raided a home there.
