Death toll from Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip rises to 52,862

GAZA, May 12 (YPA) – The death toll from the genocidal war and aggression waged by the Israeli occupation forces on the Gaza Strip has risen to 52,862 martyrs and 119,648 wounded since October 7, 2023.

Medical sources reported that the death toll includes 2,749 martyrs and 7,607 wounded since March 18, when the occupation resumed its aggression on the Strip following the ceasefire agreement.

During the past 24 hours, 33 martyrs arrived at the hospitals of the Gaza Strip, including 29 new martyrs, 4 bodies of martyrs who were recovered, and 94 injured. A number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.
