Four killed, dozens injured in Israeli shelling of displaced civilians in southern Gaza

GAZA, April 29 (YPA) – At least four Palestinian citizens were killed and others were injured last night in an Israeli occupation attack on south of Al-Mawasi area in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza Strip.

Palestinian sources reported the martyrdom of four civilians and the evacuation of over 30 wounded following Zionist artillery shelling targeting the tents of displaced persons in the Al-Iqlimi area, west of Rafah city.

They were transported to the Red Cross Hospital west of Rafah.

Several injuries also occurred due to occupation shelling around Al-Faraj Mosque east of Al-Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

The total number of civilians killed in the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza has reached 52,314. At least 117,792 have also been injured.

This toll remains incomplete, as thousands of victims remain trapped under the rubble or scattered on the streets, inaccessible to ambulances and rescue teams.
