US warplanes launch series of airstrikes on Sanaa, Amran

SANAA, April 28 (YPA) – US fighter jets launched a series of aggressive airstrikes on Sanaa and Amran provinces on Monday evening.

Local sources reported that three US airstrikes hit Bilad al-Rus district in Sanaa province, while three similar airstrikes targeted Harf Sufyan district in Amran province.

The sources have not yet reported the effects of the airstrikes or the targeted locations at the time of writing.

These airstrikes come hours after the US committed war crimes in Sanaa and Saada, targeting a center for illegal immigrants, which resulted in the deaths and injuries of 125 people, and the bombing of the Thaqban residential area in the Bani al-Harith district, north of Sanaa, which resulted in the deaths of eight civilians, including children and women.
