SAANA, April 25 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning called on fishermen and seafarers on Friday along the southern west coast, the Bab al-Mandab Strait, and the western Gulf of Aden to take precautions against high waves.
In its weather bulletin, the center warned citizens in desert areas and coastal plains of hot weather.
The center forecast the weather would be clear to partly cloudy, with scattered cumulus clouds over parts of the western highlands.
It indicated that the weather in coastal areas would also be clear to partly cloudy and hot during the day, with moderate to strong winds along the southern west coast, the Bab al-Mandab Strait, and the western Gulf of Aden, reaching maximum speeds of 20 to 30 knots, causing rough seas and high waves.
According to the center, the weather in the desert areas might be clear and hot during the day, with maximum temperatures ranging between 35 and 39 degrees Celsius and light to moderate winds.
