4 civilians killed, one injured in Israeli attack east of Khan Yunis

GAZA, April 23 (YPA) – Four Palestinian civilians were killed and another injured Tuesday evening in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a group of Palestinian civilians east of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

According to the Palestinian Information Center, an Israeli drone fired at least one missile at a group of civilians in the town of Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Yunis.

The center quoted medical sources as saying that the four deaths and one wounded in critical condition arrived at Nasser Hospital and the European Hospital.

The occupation’s aggression against the Gaza Strip has continued since October 7, 2023, causing massacres against civilians and displaced people and destroying all vital infrastructure that might contribute to saving the lives of the wounded or alleviating the suffering.

Since the resumption of military operations against the Strip on March 18, the death toll has risen to 1,890, while the number of wounded has reached 4,950. This brings the total number of martyrs since October 7, 2023, to 51,266 and the number of wounded to 116,991, with injuries ranging from moderate to serious.
