INSS: “Israel” facing strategic confusion since start of war

WORLD, April 12 (YPA) – The Israeli Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) stated that maintaining the current situation in Gaza and delaying decisions about it is a negative option.

It added that the government’s failure to develop alternatives regarding Gaza’s future leads to the continued rule of Hamas.

The institute emphasized that the government’s failure to establish alternatives for Gaza’s future opens the door to chaos.

It stated that the strategic confusion we face stems from a flawed policy since the beginning of the war.

The INSS noted that encouraging migration from Gaza could be a useful alternative but carries high risks.

It affirmed that the Trump administration taking over negotiations with Hamas reduces the Israeli government’s room for maneuver.

The institute added, “We must reassess our strategic options to align with the interests of the Trump administration.”
