Nine Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrike on two homes in Deir al-Balah

GAZA, April 08 (YPA) – At least nine Palestinians were killed and others injured on Monday evening as a result of an Israeli airstrike targeting two homes in the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

Local sources reported in press statements that six citizens were killed and several others were injured when Israeli warplanes bombed the home of the Ghurab family west of Deir al-Balah.

Three Palestinians were also killed as a result of an Israeli airstrike targeting a home on al-Bi’ah Street in Deir al-Balah.

These sources added that Israeli forces are continuing their aerial and artillery bombardment of several areas in the Gaza Strip, with a focus on the city of Rafah, the town of Abasan al-Kabira in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, and the Shuja’iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City.

Earlier, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the death toll in the Gaza Strip had risen to 50,752, with 115,475 wounded, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023.
