Meteorology center warns of high temperatures, sea turbulence

SANAA, April 04 (YPA) -The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning predicted relatively cool weather, with possible fog formation on the slopes of the western mountainous highlands during the night and early morning.

In its 24-hour weather forecast, the center stated that skies would be clear to partly cloudy during the day, with cumulus clouds forming over parts of Saada, Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, and Raymah governorates in the afternoon and evening.

Coastal areas are expected to experience clear to partly cloudy conditions, with moderate to strong winds along the western coast, the Bab al-Mandab Strait, and the Gulf of Aden. Wind speeds will range between 14–25 knots, gusting over 35 knots, causing rough seas and high waves, the center said.

In desert regions, the weather will be clear and hot, with daytime temperatures between 34–38°C, accompanied by moderate to active winds that may stir up dust and sand.

The Meteorology and Early Warning Center warned sea-goers and fishermen in the south of the Red Sea, the entrance to Bab al-Mandab and the western Gulf of Aden of sea turbulence and tugging currents pose a danger, calling for caution and caution.
