Israeli air attack targets Al-Abyad Port in Syrian governorate of Latakia

SAYRIA, Mar. 27 (YPA) – Israeli warplanes carried out several airstrikes targeting the vicinity of the Al-Abyad Port and the city of Latakia during the early morning hours on Thursday, a correspondent for the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) in Latakia reported.

The correspondent indicated that the relevant authorities are currently verifying that the targeted areas were free of any casualties.

For their part, Syrian media and activists on social media reported that six Israeli raids targeted Syrian army positions on the Syrian coast, including the vicinity of the Al-Abyad Port and the 110th Naval Brigade in the Ras Shamra area of Latakia Governorate.

Local sources in Latakia stated that the raids focused on naval military sites, including weapons depots and several other military facilities.
