LAHJ, March 26 (YPA) – Power outages have increased to 22 hours per day, compared to two hours of operation in Lahj province, especially with the approach of Eid al-Fitr.
Local sources in the governorate reported that Lahj districts are suffering from an electricity crisis that has worsened in recent days, disrupting daily life and increasing suffering amid soaring temperatures.
The sources attributed this to a fuel shortage and the coalition government’s failure to fulfill its repeated promises to improve the electricity system.
Residents denounced the ongoing electricity crisis since 2016, calling on the coalition government to improve services and alleviate their suffering, especially with the advent of Eid.
