Al-Qassam posts video of Israeli prisoners demanding to end war

GAZA, March 24 (YPA) – Al Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas Islamic Resistance Movement released a video on Monday to show two Israeli prisoners held by Palestinian resistance forces in the Gaza Strip.

In the video, the two prisoners strongly criticized the Netanyahu government’s resumption of hostilities, warning that it could lead to their deaths.

The two prisoners appeared in the video expressing their frustration with the ongoing war. One of them said, “Even though we have a name, an identity, and a hope, today I am just a number,” referring to the marginalization of their cause by the “Netanyahu government.”

One of them addressed the former prisoners, who were released earlier, “Why don’t you tell them? You were with us and you sit with us,” urging him to speak publicly about the prisoners’ conditions.

Estimates in the occupying entity indicate that 59 Israeli prisoners are still being held in Gaza, including 24 who are still alive, while more than 9,500 Palestinians are languishing in Israeli prisons, where they face harsh conditions that include torture and ill-treatment.
