MANAMA, March 23 (YPA) – A massive sit-in was organized in the Bahraini capital, Manama, to protest against the ongoing massacres that the Israeli occupation’s committing in the Gaza Strip.
In a rally, the participants demanded the Bahrain government to cancel the normalization agreement with the Zionist entity.
The Bahraini Society Against Normalization issued a statement affirming its rejection of the continuation of the normalization agreement, noting that this agreement did not represent the popular will, which stands with the Palestinian people in their struggle against the crimes of the occupation.
The Assembly’s statement strongly condemned the massacres being committed in the Gaza Strip, holding the US administration and the occupation government responsible for violating the ceasefire agreement.
The statement also stressed the need to strengthen campaigns to boycott supporters of the Zionist entity, including businesses that cooperate with the occupation, in order to prevent them from contributing to the Israeli war machine.
