SOCOTRA, March 18 (YPA) – At least 100 African militants arrived to Abd al-Kuri Island in the Socotra Archipelago, coinciding with the visit of the head of the so-called “Southern Transitional Council,” Aidarous al-Zubaidi, to Socotra Island, local sources revealed.
Sources indicated that the militants were stationed in a camp prepared by the United Arab Emirates, in secret cooperation with Israel.
Field reports and analyses indicate that the camp established on Abd al-Kuri Island is a joint Israeli-UAE military base, equipped to carry out military operations against Sana’a forces.
With its unique geographical location and proximity to international maritime routes, Socotra Island is a strategic location that can be used to carry out military or intelligence operations against regional actors.
