Hamas accuses Netanyahu of disrupting ceasefire for his own personal, party interests

GAZA, March 10 (YPA) -The Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas”, accused Netanyahu of disrupting the ceasefire agreement for his own personal and party interests.

In a statement, Hamas affirmed its full commitment to the ceasefire agreement, the implementation of what was agreed upon, and readiness to immediately enter into negotiations for the second phase.

The Zionist occupation continues to violate the agreement and refuses to proceed with its second-phase negotiations, revealing its intentions to evade and procrastinate, according to the statement.

“Netanyahu is disrupting the ceasefire agreement for his own personal and party interests. The release of the prisoners and the feelings of their families are the least of his concern,” the statement read.

Hamas explained that the agreement was sponsored by the mediators and witnessed by the whole world, which necessitates compelling the occupation to implement it, given that it is the only way to release its prisoners.

The movement refused all attempts to exert pressure on Hamas while the occupation is left without accountability for evading its commitments.

“The language of blackmailing and threatening of war won’t work, and there is no path except through negotiations and adherence to the agreement. Otherwise, it will be threatening the fate of its prisoners,” the Movement stressed.

Hamas concluded by saying: “The Zionist occupation’s continued procrastination and deception will not give it a cover to evade the agreement, but will rather increase its isolation and expose the falsity of its narrative before the world.”
