GAZA, March 06 (YPA) – Military spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Obeida, praised on Thursday Yemen’s heroic stance declared in continued support of the resistance and confronting the Israeli enemy’s attacks on Gaza.
Abu Obeida said in a televised statement on Telegram on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
“We salute the honest brothers, the Ansarullah in dear Yemen, for their pioneering and heroic stance, in which they announced their continued support and readiness to strike the enemy and destroy its strongholds in the event that the enemy returns to attack our people in Gaza,” he added.
Abu Obeida also sent greetings to the steadfast resistance fighters in the West Bank and the heroes of the fedayeen operations, stressing that the Israeli enemy’s threats of war would only bring it disappointment and would not lead to the release of its prisoners.
“The resistance is in a state of readiness and preparation for all possibilities, and that the return of war will make the resistance break what remains of the enemy’s prestige,” he revealed. “What the enemy did not take in the war, it will not take through threats and tricks.”
Abu Obeida affirmed that any “escalation of aggression against people in Gaza would lead to the killing of a number of enemy prisoners.
He continued: “We remind the nation of two billion that this Arab Muslim people is being subjected to genocide, starvation and attempted displacement in front of you.”
Regarding the commitment to the ceasefire agreement and the exchange of prisoners, Abu Obeida said, “Our commitment to the agreement came out of respect for the pledges of our mediating brothers.”
He stressed that “the enemy has reneged on many of its commitments, which are basic rights for the Palestinian people,” adding that “the enemy has practiced bullying, procrastination, and arrogance, and the complex of criminality and sadism is nested in the mind of the occupier in the Gaza Strip, Lebanon, Syria, and the entire region.”
Abu Obeida called on all fair-minded people and human rights advocates to “expose the crime being committed against Palestinian prisoners.” He adding, “The blind eyes of Western regimes do not see a difference, but rather cry over dozens of enemy prisoners, and do not care about the safety of our prisoners.”
