US forces send new reinforcements to northeastern Syria

SANAA, March 01 (YPA) – The US forces sent the first batch of military reinforcements during the current month of March, towards its military bases in northeastern Syria.

The Syrian Observatory reported that a US military cargo plane landed, accompanied by two military helicopters, at the “Kharab al-Jir” base in the Hasakah countryside, northeastern Syria, loaded with military and logistical equipment.

The observatory explained that the military reinforcements included logistical and medical supplies and weapons.

This comes as part of its continuation of strengthening its bases in northeastern Syria, since the fall of the Assad regime in Syria.

It is worth noting that the US forces sent 6 reinforcement operations from their bases in Iraq during last February, while they sent 12 military reinforcement operations to their forces in Syria during last January.
