SANAA, Feb. 26 (YPA) – The Yemeni Defense Minister Major General Mohammed Nasser Al-Atifi reaffirmed Yemen’s complete rejection of any foreign presence, urging aggressor forces to reconsider their actions and acknowledge the reality that demands justice and peace.
Speaking on Tuesday, Al-Atifi emphasized that the Yemeni Armed Forces, under the leadership of the revolution’s leader, will not hesitate to protect the nation’s resources and wealth. He stressed that national sovereignty is a red line that cannot be compromised or manipulated.
The Defense Minister reiterated that foreign presence in Yemen, in any form, is entirely unacceptable and that no violation of national sovereignty will be tolerated. He called on the enemies to reassess their calculations and align with the principles necessary for achieving justice and peace.
“We in the Armed Forces, under the leadership of the revolution’s leader, will not hesitate to protect our resources, wealth, and national assets,” Al-Atifi stated. “National sovereignty is a red line, and we will not allow any external interference in our internal affairs.”
He also warned aggressor forces, asserting that Yemen’s islands are an inseparable part of its geography and that any attempt to infringe upon its sovereignty over these territories will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Al-Atifi further cautioned that the United States, the United Kingdom, and Israel must carefully reconsider any reckless moves, making it clear that Yemen’s support for Gaza and the Palestinian cause is a sovereign duty. He affirmed that Yemen will not waver in its stance until victory and complete liberation are achieved.
“The region must understand Yemen—there is no room for maneuvering. If the past ten years were difficult, what is coming will be even harsher and more severe,” he warned.
He also dismissed any separatist or divisive projects, stating that the Yemeni people stand united against them.
Al-Atifi affirmed that Yemen is steadily advancing in the development of its military capabilities and deterrence measures, ensuring that its Armed Forces remain prepared to defend the nation under any circumstances.
