WEST BANK, Feb. 17 (YPA) – Israeli occupation continues its aggression on the city of Jenin and its camp for the twenty-eighth consecutive day, which has so far killed 25 Palestinians, and left dozens of injuries, and widespread destruction of infrastructure and property.
According to Palestinian sources, the occupation bulldozers began paving new streets in Jenin camp, extending from Mahyoub Street to Jouret Al-Dhahab neighborhood, and from the west of the new camp to Abdullah Azzam neighborhood, and from Al-Wahdan neighborhood towards Jouret Al-Dhahab, in addition to paving a road from the mountain area to the middle of the camp, and other streets were expanded inside the camp.
They added that the occupation closed part of Mahyoub Street with dirt mounds, and the occupation closed the entrance to the new camp.
The occupation detained more than 150 people in Jenin camp, and subjected dozens to field investigation, while a large infantry force raided a house belonging to Al-Amer family in the vicinity of Al-Assir Mosque, according to the sources.
The occupation forces also stormed and searched the house of the slain youths Hammam and Harith Hashash in the Saada Forest in the city of Jenin, which had previously been notified of demolition last Friday, while the occupation forces continue to deploy in Kharouba neighborhood and the vicinity of the Battikha and Interior roundabouts, and in the vicinity of the Yahya Ayyash roundabout, where the occupation soldiers detained citizens, checked their identities, and searched their vehicles and bicycles.
With the continuation of the aggression on Jenin camp, the massive destruction is revealed day after day in the homes, properties, and shops of citizens in the neighborhoods and streets of the camp, while the occupation continues to send military reinforcements accompanied by bulldozers and fuel tankers to the entrances and surroundings of the camp, and the occupation bulldozers continue the work of destruction and demolition and opening streets in several neighborhoods of Jenin camp, and drones continue to fly at low altitudes in the skies of the camp.
