Large rock collapse injures three, including child in Lahj

LAHJ, Feb. 07 (YPA) – Three citizens, including a child, were injured on Friday when a large rock fell on a house in the Yahr district of Yafa’a in Lahj Governorate, southern Yemen.

Local sources reported that the incident occurred after Friday prayer in the Tareed area in the Yahr district.

They explained that the rock fell on a tin-roofed house belonging to citizen Thabit Abdulkareem Majli.

The sources clarified that the incident left a man and a girl with broken bones, while a child was rescued from beneath the rubble and he is in a critical condition.

They added that the injured were taken to “Labus” hospital to receive the necessary medical treatment.
