Child killed in armed clashes in Shabwa

SHABWA, Feb. 05 (YPA) – A child was killed on Wednesday during armed clashes in Shabwa province, which is under the control of the UAE-backed factions.

A local source in the province reported that the child Salem Saleh Salem Al-Bahji, known as “Bin Shiboub,” was killed by gunmen in Markha Al-Ulya district during armed tribal clashes, without providing further details about the incident.

The source added that the clashes were renewed due to tribal revenge disputes witnessed by the district and the rest of Shabwa, which reflects the state of ongoing security chaos in light of the absence of the state’s role since the Saudi-led coalition-allied factions took control of Aden and other southern provinces.
