Six people killed in Philadelphia plane crash

PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 02 (YPA) – About 6 people were killed in a civilian plane crash after taking off from Northeast Philadelphia Airport.

The US Federal Aviation Administration said in a post on X that the A Lear Jet 55 plane was carrying six people.

“Emergency and ambulance crews moved to the accident site, where the plane crashed, followed by an explosion as a result of its collision with residential buildings in the Roosevelt Street and Cottman Street area,” the American CBS network said.
