Restaurant worker shot dead in Abyan

ABYAN, Jan. 31 (YPA) – A restaurant worker was shot dead on Thursday by a coalition soldier in Abyan province, southern Yemen.

Local sources said two soldiers asked the worker in Mudiyah district to cook to them pigeons without paying, which led to disagreements and developed into a fight.

One of the soldiers shot the worker, Saleh Nasser Bafqir, who fell covered in blood, while attempts to rescue him by taking him to the hospital failed, the source added.
