3 ones injured due to targeting military vehicle of STC factions in Abyan

ABYAN, Jan. 22 (YPA) – Three persons were injured, on Wednesday, when unknown gunmen believed to be affiliated with terrorist elements targeted a military vehicle of the UAE-funded Transitional Council factions in Abyan governorate.

Informed sources reported that the militants detonated an explosive device while a military vehicle belonging to the Third Support and Reinforcement Brigade was passing in the Jablah area in Maudiyah district, indicating that the explosion left three wounded, including one citizen.

The sources described the injuries of the recruits as minor, stressing that the injuries of the citizen who happened to be passing by the explosion area were serious, and they were transferred to Maudiyah Hospital for treatment.

Other sources reported information indicating that the military vehicle of the factions was carrying Emirati drones that were on their way to the factions’ headquarters in Maudiyah, pointing out that the explosion destroyed the military vehicle.
