Water, Environment Minister Meets Mercy Corps official

SANAA, July 22 (YPA) – Minister of Water and Environment, Nabil Abdullah Al-Wazir, on Sunday discussed with the Program Director of Mercy Corp a number of topics related to the Foundation’s activities in the field of water.

The meeting reviewed the programs implemented by Mercy Corp during the current year in the field of water, sanitation and environmental and the most important projects to be implemented during the next year.

The meeting discussed the projects which will be implemented by the Ministry of Water in the field of alternative energy and the importance of the interaction of Mercy Corp in supporting energy projects.

Al-Wazir stressed on the Ministry’s keenness to develop and expand the partnership with organizations concerned with the water and sanitation sector, facilitate its tasks and overcome the difficulties that may accompany the field work.
