Swedish dock workers plan to ban shipment of military equipment to Israel

SANAA, Jan. 15 (YPA) – The Swedish Dock Workers’ Union has announced, on Wednesday, a ban on military materials to and from the Israeli occupation.

According to the union, the blockade, which will come into effect on January 27, is being implemented in solidarity with the Palestinian trade union movement in response to the genocide in Gaza.

“We do not want to contribute to maintaining trade with Israel that in any way facilitates or prolongs war crimes in Gaza,” the union said.
