Huge fire breaks out due to fuel station explosion in Taiz

TAIZ, Jan. 07 (YPA) – A huge fire broke out in the past hours at a fuel station in the center of Mawza’ district in west of Taiz governorate.

Local sources reported that the fire was caused by an electrical short circuit at the station located in the middle of the main market of the Mawza’ Center, and resulted in the injury of the station owner who was transferred to the hospital for treatment.

The sources explained that the fire caused the station to explode and be completely destroyed, without knowing further details about the extent of the material losses resulting from the fire.
