Gaza genocide enters 459th day as Zionist forces continue bloodshed

GAZA, Jan. 07 (YPA) – Israeli genocide war in the Gaza Strip enters its 459th consecutive day, as the Zionist killing machine continues to commit bloody massacres against civilians and displaced people in various areas of Gaza.

Local sources reported the martyrdom of four civilians and the injury of several others due to an Israeli airstrike that targeted a house in the Al-Bureij camp in central Gaza.

Additionally, the Civil Defense in Gaza announced that its teams were able to retrieve the bodies of four martyrs and several injured individuals following an Israeli airstrike on a residential house in the Al-Hamid Street area, west of Gaza City.

In related news, the Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, stated that the children of Gaza “are paying the price of war with their lives.”

At least seven newborns died of hypothermia in #Gaza in December, and more children are in danger, he wrote on “X”

He added, “Every child deserves a healthy and safe start in life, but the children of Gaza are paying the price of war with their own lives. Ceasefire.”

On the other hand, the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs in Gaza reviewed the Israeli occupation’s violations, stating that since the beginning of the aggression on Gaza, 926 mosques have been targeted, accounting for 74% of the total number of mosques, which is 1,244.

The ministry added that 737 mosques have been completely destroyed, representing 79% of the targeted mosques, while 189 mosques have been partially damaged.
