Missile attack targets Hadramout Tribal Alliance’s sites

HADRAMOUT, Jan. 06 (YPA) –  The sites of “Hadramout Tribal Alliance”, located to the west of Mukalla, the capital of the governorate, came under a missile strike in the past few hours.

In a statement, the alliance confirmed that its point located near the “Ambah” coast west of Mukalla was hit by missile fire from the direction of the sea, without mentioning any casualties or material losses.

The alliance stated that after the missile attack, numerous military vehicles were sent out, and it expressed confusion over the intentions of the forces attempting to undermine security and stability in the governorate.

It explained that certain parties are attempting to provoke tensions in Hadhramaut, labeling these attacks as alarming indicators that could result in significant confrontations.

In its statement, the alliance emphasized that such attacks would not deter it from its demands, and it would continue to defend the dignity, security, and stability of Hadhramaut, as well as safeguard its resources and rights.

The leadership of the “Second Military Region” in Mukalla and the “Hadhrami Elite” denied being responsible for any attacks on the alliance’s sites, instead accusing the UAE and US forces stationed at Al-Riyan Airport of carrying out the strike.

Meanwhile, journalist Sabri Bin Makhashin confirmed that the attack was launched by one of the US Navy ships stationed in the Arabian Sea.
