Egypt denies rumors of military intervention in Yemen

CAIRO, Jan. 05 (YPA) – The Egyptian authorities on Sunday denied reports that Egypt is seeking military intervention in Yemen.

The Egyptian “Alqaheranewstv” channel, known for its closeness to official authorities, reported, citing a high-ranking Egyptian source, that the Israeli media reports that claimed Egypt was preparing to carry out a military intervention in Yemen are completely false.

The source confirmed that these allegations and the misleading information they contain have no relation to the truth

Israeli media had claimed that Egypt was planning to launch intensive air attacks against Ansarullah “Houthis” in light of the Israeli-American failure to deal with the Yemeni front.
