GAZA, Jan. 01 (YPA) – Hundreds of pro-Palestine activists demonstrated in the Vauxhall Bridge area in central London, demanding an end to the ongoing Israeli occupation aggression on the Gaza Strip for the second year in a row.
The demonstrators at the bridge stressed their solidarity with the Palestinian people against the crimes of the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip, and chanted slogans against “Israel”.
Protesters who gathered at the bridge on New Year’s Eve raised Palestinian flags, many of them wearing the keffiyeh, and chanted slogans in support of the Palestinian people, such as “Palestine is free,” “Stop the shooting now,” and “Gaza is free.”
Participants in the demonstration in solidarity with Palestine denounced the genocide committed by the occupying state against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, where the displaced are suffering under deteriorating living conditions in light of the severe cold and the absence of the necessities of life and warmth in their camps.
