One person killed, 3 others injured in hand grenade explosion in Taiz

TAIZ, Dec. 30 (YPA) – A citizen was killed, on Monday, and three others injured due to an explosion of a hand grenade in Sharab Al-Rawnah district of Taiz governorate.

The police station of the district said that the citizen, Anwar Abdo Qahtan (30 years old), detonated a hand grenade while police officers were there to arrest him based on a complaint filed by his father.

The police reported that Anwar was suffering from psychological disorders, while the explosion resulted in his death, and the injury of two police officers and a citizen.
