Dozens of teachers stage protest rally in oil-rich Shabwa

SHABWA, Dec. 30 (YPA) – Dozens of teachers staged on Monday a protest rally in Rawdah district of the oil-rich Shabwa province, which is under the control of the Emirati factions.

In the rally, the participants demanded that the payment of their delayed salaries by the coalition-affiliated Aden government.

They expressed their discontent and resentment at the government’s failure to pay their salaries since last October, stressing that the interruption of salaries has doubled their living suffering.

The protesters demanded that a monthly cash incentive be paid to primary and c Contracted teachers, similar to teachers in some areas, without discrimination.

The rally stressed the need to pay salaries regularly without delay to ensure the continuity of the educational process.
