Yemeni forces launch drone attacks on two vital Israeli targets in Tel Aviv, Ashkelon

SANAA, Dec. 25 (YPA) – The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Wednesday that they had conducted two drone strikes targeting critical sites in the occupied cities of Yaffa, known as Tel Aviv and  Ashkelon.

 “The UAV force of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out two military operations. The first targeted a sensitive vital objective of the Israeli enemy in the occupied Yaffa area. The second operation targeted the industrial area of the Israeli enemy in the occupied Ashkelon area,” according to a statement read by the Yemeni military spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sarie on Wednesday evening.   

The operations were carried out with drones and successfully achieved their  objectives, Sarie confirmed in the statement, adding that the attack was in solidarity with the Palestinian people and their resistance and in response to the Israeli massacres committed against people in Gaza.

He added that the operations were part of the fifth phase of support for the Gaza front.

“The Yemeni Armed Forces reaffirm their commitment to supporting the oppressed Palestinian people, and stress that these operations will continue until the aggression on Gaza ceases and the siege is lifted,” the brigadier general affirmed.
