DAMASCUS, Dec. 25 (YPA) -The terrorist organization “ISIS” carried out a new execution on Wednesday, killing three former members of the Syrian Army in the desert of Homs, central Syria.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that civilians found the bodies of three members of the former Syrian regime forces in the Homs desert, confirming they were executed by gunfire from ISIS militants’ cells.
According to the Observatory’s documentation, since the fall of the Assad regime on December 8, ISIS has carried out 10 operations in the Syrian desert, killing 101 people, including 81 military personnel and 20 civilians, over the past two weeks.
This comes amidst a security decline and repeated attacks targeting both civilians and military personnel.
