DAMASUCS, Dec. 21 (YPA) – Three Syrians were killed on Saturday as a result of Turkish drone strikes on towns controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in northeastern Syria.
For the 12th consecutive day, Turkish forces stepped up their drone attacks on several areas in northeastern Syria, aiming to support their forces in taking control of the city of Ain al-Arab (Kobani).
In this context, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that a Turkish drone targeted a car near the town of Tell Brak in the Hasakah countryside with two airstrikes, killing a religious leader and two SDF fighters, while also injuring five others.
Since early 2024, the Syrian Observatory has reported 213 airstrikes carried out by Turkish drones on different positions in areas controlled by Autonomous Administration in North and East Syria (AANES). These attacks killed 93 persons and injured over 56 combatants and 80 civilians, including six women and five children.
