American forces dispatch large military reinforcements from Iraq to Syria

BAGHDAD, Dec. 21 (YPA) – The Harir Air Base in Erbil, the second largest US base in northern Iraq, witnessed the departure of a huge military convoy consisting of more than 20 heavy military vehicles, including armored vehicles and Humvees, heading towards Syria on Saturday.

According to Iraqi sources, this convoy, which left the base amid tight security measures, is heading towards military bases in the Syrian province of Hasakah.

This is the second convoy of its kind in less than 24 hours, indicating the strengthening of the US military presence in Syria amid a state of alert and security preparedness.
