Armed ambush targets Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham members

DAMASCUS, Dec. 21 (YPA) – A military force from “Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham” was on Saturday subjected to an armed ambush in the Syrian city of Talkalakh near the border with Lebanon.

Media sources said that a number of unknown gunmen in a trucks set up an armed ambush for members of the “Military Operations Command Room” in the town of Al-Ransiyah in the city of Talkalakh, followed by armed clashes between the two parties.

Several members were killed and wounded in the ambush, while the wounded were transferred to hospitals in the area.

The reports did not reveal additional information about the identity of the perpetrators of the attack, nor the number of victims.
