Law enacted on Sanaa on extraordinary procedure to support wage bill of state employees

SANAA, Dec. 17 (YPA) – Law No. 2 of the year 1446 AH was issued on Tuesday regarding the temporary exceptional mechanism to support the salary bill of state employees and solve the problem of small depositors.

The law includes 20 articles distributed over four chapters as follows:

Chapter One: Name, Definitions, and Objectives.

Chapter Two: Sources of funding for the exceptional mechanism.

Chapter Three: Aspects and Mechanism of Disbursement from the Account of the Exceptional Mechanism.

Chapter Four: General and Final Provisions.

The last article (20) stipulates that this law will be effective from the date of its issuance and publication in the Official Gazette.
