Shabwa tribes force UAE forces to release kidnapped sons

SHABWA, Dec. 14 (YPA) – The leadership of the UAE forces stationed in the Balhaf gas facility of Shabwa province, released two kidnapped members of the Al-Qashair Al-Lakhnaf tribe after storming their home in Radhum district of the province.

Tribal sources confirmed that the UAE forces released Issa Haidar Ladhil Al-Qash’ouri and Haroun Haidar Ladhil Al-Qash’ouri” from the UAE detention center in Balhaf facility, on Wednesday after the tribe’s gunmen blocked the road of the UAE vehicles.

The sources reported that the tribesmen forced the UAE-backed factions to release the kidnapped people after giving them a 24-hour deadline and then heading to close the coastal road following a storming campaign that violated citizens’ homes and terrorized their children and women.

They affirmed that the Al Bahnaf tribes described the raids as barbaric behavior, demanding the withdrawal of the Emirati forces from the Balhaf gas facility, which they had turned into a military barracks.
