LEBANON, Dec. 07 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces bombed a number of homes and buildings in the town of Khiam in southern Lebanon, in violation of the ceasefire, media reported on Saturday.
Lebanese media stated that the occupation forces’ targeting of homes has continued since dawn today, noting that huge explosions were heard and plumes of smoke rose near a mosque in the center of the town of Khiam.
The media sources pointed out that the Israeli artillery shelling targeted the Al-Mari Plain in the south of the country, in clear violation of the armistice agreement declared on November 27.
The Israeli occupation army continues to violate the ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah, as it launched several raids today on southern and eastern Lebanon and carried out sweeps with heavy machine guns in several locations.
