WORLD, Dec. 06 (YPA) – A leader of armed groups in Syria expressed, during an interview with the Israeli channel i24NEWS on Thursday, “respect” for Israel and the United States, as well as sympathy towards them due to their actions against Iran.
The leader, known as “Abu Abdu,” confirmed that “Israel and the armed groups are fighting against a common enemy, which is Iran,” indicating a new connection between the terrorists in Syria and the Israeli occupation.
In the “exclusive interview,” Abu Abdu stated that “the enemy is Iran and all its allies,” such as Hezbollah and the Syrian state.
When asked about the role that Israel and the United States should play in Syria, Abu Abdu replied that the militants “expect a concerted effort to eliminate the enemy.”
He added, “If we don’t know how to take advantage of this historic opportunity, the situation will become worse than it is now,” expressing “respect and sympathy” for Israel and the United States due to their actions against Iran.
