SANAA, Dec. 04 (YPA) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in Sanaa, Jamal Amer, discussed on Wednesday with the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Sanaa, Zeina Ali Ahmed, the program projects in Yemen.
At the meeting, the 2024 UNDP projects, the program’s work plan for 2025, and the project to support electronic payment through national electronic financial wallets were discussed.
Amer emphasized the importance of mine clearance due to societal burden and increased mine spread, urging for new funding sources for the National Mine Action Center.
He stressed the program’s commitment to align projects with the country’s needs and coordination with competent authorities.
