The sources also reported that the rebels were dismantling vehicles at some facilities, stealing them, and transporting them toward Idlib. They confirmed that most of the clashes were caused by disputes over stolen property.
Social media pages and channels have shared footage showing foreign militants in Aleppo.
Militants led by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham launched an attack on Aleppo city last Wednesday, seized control of the city, and advanced into the surrounding countryside of Idlib and the neighboring Hama governorate.
Earlier, the Syrian military command stated that “the army is now conducting a redeployment operation aimed at strengthening defense lines to absorb the attack, preserve the lives of civilians and soldiers, and prepare for a counteroffensive.”
