MARIB, Dec. 02 (YPA) – Two citizens were killed on Sunday in two separate incidents in Wadi Abaidah district, east of coalition-held Marib city.
Media sources affirmed that Ahmed Abdullah Al-Dhahab, 30 years old, and “Jabril Muhammad Saghir Ismail, 17, were killed by gunmen believed to belong to the Islah Party factions in the district, following personal disputes.
Meanwhile, the young man, ,” was stabbed to death with a sharp object in the same directorate, following a verbal altercation between him and another person.
This came after a continuation of the security chaos had witnessed in the Islah Party factions-controlled areas and the Emirates-affiliated factions in Marib.
Last week, the district was witnessed violent confrontations between the Al-Maili and Al-Damashiq tribes, using various types of medium and heavy weapons, following the assassination of Sheikh Hamad bin Maili, amid accusations against the Al-Damashiq militants.
